Where were you born?
When and how did you come to know Jesus Christ?
It was in a Sunday School class when I was 8 years old I accepted our Lord Jesus into my heart. Shortly after our Lord gave me the privilege to receive the Holy Spirit with affirmation and was baptized by immersion in water when I was 12 years old.
Describe your personal journey that led you to ordination. Include education, training, mentoring, service, and giftedness.
Prior to joining the Free Methodist Conference with Light & Life Christian Fellowship – Sylmar, CA for nearly 19 years, I served in various ministries within the church under the leadership of the senior pastor, such as: Youth Pastor, Pastor Assistant, Church Board Member, Christian Education Director, Sunday School Teacher, Church Administrator, Finances/Bookkeeping, Worship team and assisted with church planting. These experiences reaffirmed the calling God has gifted me to serve his church through these years, it shaped the skills He had provided me with the power of the Holy Spirit and now utilize them to serve His kingdom with the Free Methodist Conference.
Describe how you intend to fulfill your ordination vows.
By receiving God’s calling in my heart that He filled with love for his church, I will faithfully serve our Free Methodist Conference in any possible manner I have been prepared; persevering in prayer, continue to studying and reading the scripture, and grow in the grace, knowledge of our Lord Jesus. Mentoring leaders and reaching out to people with grace, love and care.
Are there any personal comments you would like to make to the Annual Conference?
I am thankful to the Free Methodist Conference that they embrace leaders, reach out and connect diverse communities. They filter key leaders and find their potential and put them to work to their prospective. FMC is well organized and cares for its pastors and leaders, which is essential to continue to work the plan that God has for the FMC movement.
